“It doesn’t matter if the water is cold or warm if you’re going to have to wade through it anyway” -Teilhard de Chardin

True story: once upon a time I was on a domestic flight. The cabin of the plane was cold. This was the dialog between me and the flight attendant. Let’s call her “Ms. Hannigan”:

  • CanCan: “Excuse me, may I have a blanket please?”
  • Ms. Hannigan: “No.”
  • CanCan: “?? Can I have a pillow?”
  • Ms. Hannigan: “WE DON’T HAVE ANY! *slams overhead bin and stomps off toward the kichenette*

I learned two things from this exchange 1) flight attendants in the United States are REALLY MEAN! and 2) always be prepared; I can not rely on even the most basic courtesies from airline staff.

I have no way of knowing in advance if the cabin is going to be the temperature of El Azizia desert or Antartica. Rather than carry around a bulky coat, my solution to this problem is BabyLegs.

BabyLegs pack easily and compactly into a purse or carry on bag. I can fit all three pairs (one for me and one for each child) into my bag in less space than a light jacket. The BabyLegs slip easily on to chilly arms (or legs, of course!). Our new BabyLegs are from the SuperSoft line… I would describe the texture as a combination of cashmere and chenille. Why don’t we call it “chemere” or “cashnille“, just for fun?

Baby Deak has a the SuperSoft Rainbow BabyLegs, and I will be wearing the SuperSoft Cream BabyLegs on our flight. These are useful for Deaky because we practice EC!

One great thing about BabyLegs is their versatility. Jojo likes to wear his SuperSoft Flame BabyLegs with his Superhero Costume.

BabyLegs help Jojo to run fast (his personal testimonial).

I am looking forward to using these during our travel. No unaccommodating flight attendant is going to be in control of my physical comfort!

BabyLegs seem to have an endless number of uses. If you would like to WIN a pair of Supersoft BabyLegs, leave a comment here telling me your favorite use for BabyLegs, and your favorite BabyLegs design not mentioned in this review (there are dozens and dozens of designs!). One winner will receive a pair of Supersoft BabyLegs ($16-$22 value)! The winner will be chosen by random number generator. This giveaway will close on July 9, 9pm CST.

*Congrats to Malteny , who commented, ” Love the supersoft spice. I just love the look of them under little skirts or dresses. Thanks for the opportunity to win!”*
