Baby Needs Chocolate! And Mommy, Too!
When I was pregnant, I would be walking around just an hour or so after eating a meal and suddenly start feeling lightheaded and weak!
I think baby was hungry! But I didn’t want to eat just any old junk, so I started packing healthy snacks like protein bars in my purse.
When I was breastfeeding, the habit remained. And even now, I need to have snacks on hand for hungry kids, for the purposes of avoiding meltdowns.
I love healthy food, or rather, healthy food that tastes good, and I am a big fan of Bellybar.
When I recently had the opportunity to sample a variety of Bellybar products, I tried to hide them and ration them to myself.
I’m not proud of it, but one day Deeds saw me drinking a Due for Chocolate Bellybar Shake. It was delicious and it came in a cute box. I knew I was doomed.
Deeds begged for the Due for Chocolate Bellybar Shake and I relented. He guzzled it down to the last drop, and then Jojo, who had had a sip, began to cry because there was no more.
Not my most positive parenting moment, but a testament to the deliciousness of Due for Chocolate Bellybar Shakes nonetheless!
The three of us enjoy the Bellybar snack bars, too. They come in amazing flavors, like Baby Needs Chocolate, Chocolate Toffee Crisp, Mellow Oat, Oat Graham & Yogurt, Crunchy Nuts & Berries, and Burstin’ Chocolate, Deep Chocolate Orange.
I like all of the flavors, but if I was forced to choose, I would remain loyal to one of the chocolate ones.

Bellybar also makes bite-sized chews, packed with nutrition. I used to eat another brand of chews that had a bad aftertaste, but I was pleased to see that the flavors of the Bellybar chews were quite palatable.
So much so, I really did eat the chews in secret so that my kids wouldn’t think I was eating candy or something. They are that good!
Citrus On Board was a nice and tart flavored chew. I think it was my favorite of the two, although I did like Chocolate Cuddles Who wouldn’t?

I learned about BellyBar rather recently through a giveaway on Facebook, and I’ve been interested in trying their products since - awesome idea for those cravings!
