Last night, I pulled out our The Christmas Collection I watched for the first time some episodes of the Burns and Allen show, staring George Burns and Gracie Allen.
This was sketch comedy, accompanied by witty monologues by Burns, and was sponsored by Carnation Evaporated Milk.
I was laughing so hard by the end, not because of the comedy, but because of how blatantly Carnation Evaporated Milk was worked into the plot- repeatedly!
For example, someone would say something like,
“Lets have coffee!” *drinking coffee*
“Whenever I have coffee, I like to cream it with Carnation Evaporated Milk! Carnation Evaporated Milk is rich in Vitamin D, the sunshine vitamin, and the taste is so rich and smooth, it makes everyday coffee a treat.
It’s really not surprising, because Carnation Evaporated Milk is so thick, you can actually whip it like cream, But Carnation Evaporated Milk is much less expensive than cream. Carnation, the milk that whips!”
“Oh yes. It certainly is good.”
*end scene*
I thought to myself, would I do the same if I had a sponsorship opportunity for my blog? Sure, it’s not the 1950’s anymore, but money still talks.
What would my blog be like?

My sons, Honda and Costco are really a handful these days.
Why just yesterday I was picking up Costco from LeapFrog Learning Academy Preschool, and I was buckling him in to the ol’ Britax and he said, “Mama, can we have some Welch’s Fruit Snacks, deliciously made with real fruit juice and packed with vitamin C? Welch’s Fruit Snacks have the taste kids love and the nutrition that makes moms happy!”
He had a point there, so I put on my favorite shirt with my new slogan:
Feel the Mom Most Traveled.

…and off we went to Publix grocery store for the friendliest service and the widest selection of quality grocery items for all of my family’s needs.
After he came home from work and took off his genuine leather shoes by Clarks, Pepsi Presents My Husband Nick said that using wholesome grocery items like great foods from Kraft, Horizons Organic, and Earth’s Best from Publix, I created a most delicious meal!

Hmmm, maybe that couldn’t happen. Actually it is kind of exhausting to write like that.
I think I need a cold refreshing drink of Starbucks Iced Coffee before I enjoy some much needed relaxation on my Sleep Number Bed….
