All Natural Lollipops for Travel

A stash of lollipops has long been a standard in my carry on luggage whilst flying with children in tow.

The novelty of eating a lollipop and the relief of “popped ears” makes it a two for one deal: entertainment and a quasi-medical need met by one small lolly!

I was never discriminatory in my choice of lollipops before, I thought one was just as good as another.

But, I had the opportunity to try all natural Queasy Pop Kids, and I liked the idea of giving my kids all natural candy.

Queasy Pop Kids are from the makers of Preggie Pops, which I enjoyed during my pregnancies.

Queasy Pop Kids contain only brown rice syrup, evaporated cane juice, citric acid, natural flavors (made with essential oils), and natural colors.

I took them along with us on our most recent really long trip.

Our Queasy Pop Kids were in a variety box, containing each of Peppermint, Cinnamon, Natural Cola, Natural Green Apple, Sour Raspberry, Sour Lemon, & Papaya pops.

The flavors are selected for their nausea-quelling capabilities and calming effects, as a weapon against motion sickness while on the road.

I love the idea of a candy treat that helps my child be calm. Where can you go wrong with that?

In the taste test, Jojo rejected the sour flavors but liked Natural Cola and Peppermint (he has never liked sour things, even lemonade), but Deeds liked ALL of the ones he sampled.

I found the flavors to be pleasant and I am really thankful that Queasy Pop Kids don’t contain artificial dyes.

I shared some Queasy Pop Kids with a pregnant friend of mine, and picky though she was, she gave them her seal of approval and said that they helped her morning sickness.

Queasy Pop Kids are a wonderful travel diversion and nausea remedy to have in your road trip tool box, especially if you don’t want your kids hopped up on artificial dyes while in a confined space.
