I’m starting a “stories” unit in my 3K class. Today I told them 1 story while I drew a the pictures.
Later I read them a story without showing the pictures, and they had to draw their own pictures from imagination.

Sometimes I don’t want to listen.
A student of mine went to Bali last week, and his mom gave me a Balinese snack. Enak!

Have you ever done bookmaking with the kids? Even just a simple stapled or tied book. I did that a lot because it was a great way to combine writing and art. My favorite is an accordion pocket book.
