Accidental Deal at Bruno’s Grocery Store

I was doing some late night grocery shopping and I stumbled upon a SUPER GREAT DEAL on breakfast cereal.
I saw Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Crunch on closeout sale for .50 a box! It is a Big G brand cereal, gluten free, and only 9g of sugar per serving, which is pretty low, especially for kid’s cereal. I don’t like to give Jojo sugary things for breakfast, but sometimes I give him stuff like this in a snack baggie in his school lunch sack.I had a coupon for .75 off of ANY 2 Big G cereals, so I got 2 boxes of this for .34, including tax! Seventeen cents per box, people! The coupon was from the cereal aisle IN THE STORE! I paid in change! Even crazier, the receipt printed out a coupon for $1.50 off any THREE Big G cereals, so I could go back and get three more boxes for FREE! But really we have nowhere to store them, and we don’t eat this particular brand very quickly. I could try to use it to make some sort of multicolored rice krispy-type treats, but it’s dangerous to gamble with that recipe.

That is a great deal. I think they would probably make yummy rice crispy treats.

You could always buy some more and give them to a local charity.
