20 Easy Ways to Help Save the Earth (book giveaway)

20 Easy Ways to Help Save the Earth by Coach Pedro Rita is a 48 page illustrated book that teaches children practical tips about conserving water, energy, and treading lightly on the planet.
20 Easy Ways to Help Save the Earth is bilingual, written in both Spanish and English. What a great way for your child to learn specialized language (words related to eco-friendly living) in two languages!
The tips in 20 Easy Ways to Help Save the Earth are not necessarily new information, but they are presented in a kid-friendly way with modern-looking cartoon illustrations.

1.) To enter to win a copy of 20 Easy Ways To Help Save The Earth, leave a comment here telling me who you would love to give this book to ! (You may enter once a day - subsequent entries don’t require you to answer the question).

Please don’t just comment with “Enter me” or “Sounds great”. That totally annoys me. Those entries are not eligible to win.

One winner will be chosen at random.

This giveaway is open to those with a US mailing address.

This contest will close May 29, 2009, 11:59 CST.

Closed! Congrats to comment number 26, Duncan Beach!

My 4 year old granddaughter is bi-lingual thanks to her mother from Ecuador - now that she has begun to read, Spanish/English books are what she wants

This book would be perfect for my son & daughter! They both learn about conservation in school & are very “green” at their young ages. However, I find I also have to remind them often about things like turning off their lights, electronics, etc when not in use. This book would be good reminders for them!

My children and I are working on learning and implementing all the Green ideas we can to help save the Earth. We want it to be around for a long time for future generations and, although we are just a few, we are hoping to help spread the knowledge to those around us and then them to those around themselves. We can’t do it alone, but we can sure help get it started! This book would be a great resource for my children and, once we are done reading it, we can pass it on to their school library. Its a small school of only about 60 students(pre-K thru 8th) but they make great strides in everything they do!

This is my comment about saving the earth today: If you think that smokers pollute the air, keep in mind that the best tuned, most fuel efficient gas engine still releases the same amount of carbon monoxide every block it travels as 60 packs of cigarettes being smoked at once. You could line up every smoker in Iowa along I-35, and have us all light up, and we couldn’t blow as much gunk into the air as 1 car traveling from Ames to Des Moines. Hence, I would like to give a copy of this book to all the anti-smokers out there.
